These are the diamond back Hostess Plates made by Indiana Glass in the 70's. I have pictured them both front and back. The front is plain and the back has a very pretty starburst and diamond pattern. They were made in all three of the carnival glass colors, blue, gold and lime green. But the Gold carnival one was called a Crimped Hostess Plate, factory #1263. This slight name change was because Indiana Glass already had a Hostess Plate in Gold Carnival.
The Crimped Hostess plate is the same as the blue and lime green Hostess Plates. Same ruffled plate, just a slightly different name for the gold carnival one.
These measure 10 inches across.
