This is the red or sunset carnival cake stand made by Indiana Glass in the 70's. This is a two piece set and it is huge. The pedestal base is also the base for the punch set and it was also sold separately as a candle holder.
The cake stand measures 7 inches tall and 14 inches in diameter. It would hold a huge cake. The top plate is the punch bowl flattened out. Please note the upturned edge!!!!!! The Indiana Glass Company did sell a 14 inch platter but it will not fit this pedestal base. Only the above 14 inch plate with the upturned edge will fit.
The two piece set is valued at 100.00 to 150.00 dollars.
