Windsor or Royal Brighton - 1982

Windsor in Blue Carnival Glass - 1982

Windsor is another beautiful, popular and slightly complicated pattern. Windsor is a Federal Glass pattern. Lancaster Colony, the parent company to Indiana Glass, purchased Federal Glass in the early 1980's. Indiana Glass reissued the Windsor pattern using the original Federal Glass molds.

Some of the reissues were marketed as Windsor, some was marketed as the Royal Brighton Pattern. Most of the Blue Carnival Windsor did not have a pattern name on the box. It just said Blue Carnival Glass but it is all the old Federal Glass Windsor pattern. The Indiana Windsor was made in crystal, blue, pink, teal and carnival glass.
